100 Year Diary JournalUpdates
Version 1.7.4 is now available on iOS and Android. The yearly calendar no longer shows extra cells outside each month, and buttons and retry actions are more consistent. We also improved iOS permission text when the app is used in English.
Version 1.7.3 for iOS fixes an issue that could prevent both individual theme purchases and Theme Pass from being available. We also added a retry option when Theme Store purchase information cannot be loaded.
Version 1.7.2 is now available. We refined buttons, toggles, and other controls across settings, themes, backup, and several other screens to make the app easier to use.
Version 1.7.1 can import diary entries, the representative photo, and tags from backups created by “100年日記（旧バージョン） by nzw31”. It also improves choosing a photo from a video and the layout of diary entries with photos.
Version 1.7.0 lets you choose one moment from a video on your device and save it as the photo for a diary entry. Long entries with photos also flow naturally across the full card width once the text reaches below the image.
Version 1.6.0 is now available. Theme Store lets you change the look of your diary with themes inspired by seasons and journeys. Each theme can coordinate Light and Dark appearances, accent colors, and the app icon. Themes can be purchased individually, or Theme Pass gives access to eligible themes together with ad removal. Available on iOS and Android.
Version 1.5.0 is now available. While editing a diary entry, you can use “Add time” to insert the current time and keep track of when you wrote each part of the day. Timestamps appear as small rounded chips for easy scanning. We also improved photo presentation in the editor for both portrait and landscape photos and simplified the delete and rotate controls. Available on iOS and Android.
Version 1.4.0 is now available. You can move existing entries and photos from Day One, 10 Year Diary, and Apple Journal into 100 Year Diary. Review what will be imported first, and days already in 100 Year Diary are never overwritten. Available on iOS and Android.
Version 1.3.1 has been released. It fixes an issue in version 1.3.0 where, after the first backup, the next cloud backup could fail after updating your diary. If you are using version 1.3.0, please update to 1.3.1 from the store.
We have confirmed an issue in version 1.3.0 where, after the first cloud backup, the next backup may fail after you update your diary. Your diary remains stored on your device. We are preparing version 1.3.1 with a fix. We apologize for the inconvenience.
You can now back up diary entries and photos to the cloud. The app encrypts them before saving to iCloud on iOS or Google Drive on Android, so they can be restored after changing devices or recovering from a device problem. Cloud backup remains optional and can be enabled from Settings.
Version 1.2.0 adds app lock, a yearly calendar view, and 100-day and 1,000-day ways to revisit past entries. It also improves editing past dates, entry ordering, calendar behavior, and photo viewing from diary cards. The update is available on iOS and Android.
Version 1.1.1 fixes the iOS 1.1.0 issue that prevented new Remove Ads purchases, could show ads to users who had already purchased Remove Ads, and could make Restore Purchases unavailable. If you are using version 1.1.0, please update to 1.1.1 from the App Store. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Starting with version 1.1.0, you can schedule a diary entry to be delivered on a future date. Choose a date on the calendar or specify a number of days such as 100, 500, or 1,000. On the delivery day, you can revisit the entry from a notification and the Today screen.
